Our senior hurlers recorded a fine win over Carrick Davins on Wednesday evening last in Boherlahan. We lead from start to finish and ran out comfortable winners on a score line of 1-17 to 0-13.

Well done to players and management for producing a winning performance in difficult circumstances.

The team that lined out was as follows: Niall McGrath, Paddy Hogan, Shane Maher, John O’Dywer, Timmy Hogan, Jack Flaherty, Donagh Maher, Noel Gleeson, Damien O’Brien, Eoin (Tossy) Hogan, Brian Hogan, Eoin (Leahy) Hogan & Danny Ryan. Subs used Johnny Ryan, Cian McDonnell & Kevin Nealon.

Scorers: Eoin (Tossy) Hogan 0-2, Eoin (Leahy) Hogan 0-7 (0-3f) (0-1’65), Danny Ryan 0-3, Damien O’Brien 1-1,  Brian Hogan 0-3, Noel Gleeson 0-1.

Our next game in this competition is fixed for Friday 28th of June at 7:30 in Newport against Cappawhite. Please keep an eye on the clubs facebook and twitters pages for any changes regarding this fixture.

Junior A Hurling

We will play Lorrha in Rd. 1 of the north championship on Saturday 29th June at 7pm in Puckane. Please come along and support the lads.

Club Lotto

There was no winner of the draw on Monday 17th of June.  The numbers drawn were; 1,3,5 & 27. The 4×25 euro winners on the night were: Noel Gleeson, Carrigatoher,  Kevin Delaney, Toomevara, Tossy Hogan, Newtown,  Declan Kirwan,  Newtown. Next week’s draw will be held in Molly Ban’s Monday 1st of July. We thank everyone for their continued support.
