Five Year Plan Launch:

Burgess Committe Members

Burgess Committee Members

On Friday night last we in Burgess GAA were proud to launch our five year plan. We were honoured to have the county chairman Sean Nugent and north chairmen Rocky McGrath in attendance as well as the county secretary Tim Floyd all of whom were impressed with our plans for the future. The night itself was a great success and was well attended by club members of all ages. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to making the plan and launch night such a success.

For those who haven’t seen the plan yet a limited number of copies are available and an electronic version is available to download from the internet  please check out the club website or Facebook page for further details along with pictures and video from the night.

Coaches Huddle:

Following on as one of the actions called out on our 5 year plan launch we had our first Coaches Huddle last Thursday night in Kilcoleman. It was very well attended and shows great enthusiasm among our coaches to improve themselves and their teams. This process is open to all in the parish who feel they have a contribution to make to the development of our games. Thanks to everyone who contributed.

Juvenile notes:

Ballinahinch replied with a goal and a point to leave the score level at half time. Burgess got two points in the second half from the boot of Eoin Grace and the hardworking Aaron Sharkey. Final score Ballinahinch 2 4 Burgess 1 3
