Burgess GAA notes 13th October 2014

Senior Hurling;

Our senior hurlers demonstrated great character on Sunday last by overcoming their recent North final disappointment to beat Borris-Ileigh in the county senior hurling preliminary quarter final on a score line of 0-21 to 2-14. This means that we are amongst the last eight teams remaining in the competition and have been drawn to face Templederry in Semple stadium on Sunday next at 2:30pm. We are hoping for a big turnout to support our lads on the day. A match report can be accessed here

Congratulations:

Champions!

Well done to the Burgess- Duharra senior camogie team who captured the county title in fine style on Saturday last and completed a historic three in a row in the process. Well done ladies and the very best of luck in Munster!
