Burgess GAA Notes 27th July 2015

Minor Hurling:

Our minor hurlers concluded their Minor A campaign with a loss to a very good Toomevara outfit on Thursday last and we wish Toom the very best of luck for the remainder of the championship. We would like to thanks the players and management for their efforts this year in the A section of the minor championship. We were up against it with such a numerically small and young panel but our lads never shirked in their efforts and gave their all in each game.  One wonders about the wisdom of forcing a team who had won nothing at u16 at B level to play in the A grade in minor.

u14 Hurling:

Well done to our u14 hurlers who qualified for the north B semi-final on August 12th against Silvermines by beating the Moneygall/Clonakenny amalgamation in Kilcoleman on Wednesday night last on a scoreline of Burgess 2-14 Moneygall/Clonakenny 2-06. Well done again to our lads for putting in yet another great team performance!

u16 Hurling:

Our u16’s face Templederry on Monday 27th in Kilcoleman at 7pm. All support is greatly appreciated.
