Burgess GAA notes 3rd August 2015

U12 Hurling:

Well done to Burgess U12 hurling team who beat Kildangan on Friday last 2-05 to 2-03. Burgess now qualify for a place in the U12 A north semi-final against Slivermines on Saturday August 8th. Congratulations to all the players and management on this great win.

Junior A Hurling:

Our Junior A’s beat Silvermines 2-16 to 0-6 in Nenagh on Sunday last. A strong gusting cross-field wind made shooting a very difficult proposition and it took fully twelve minutes, and several wides, before we registered our first score. Two goals either side of half time by Eoin Hogan and JP Grace gave us the cushion we needed to see out the win.

Our next game is fixed for Saturday 8th of August against Kildangan in Portroe at 2pm (note change of time and date from previously published notes) and our final group game will then take place on Friday 14th of August against Kilruane in Puckane at 7pm. Please keep an eye on the Guardian fixtures section and the clubs social media for any late changes to these fixtures.

Heres how our Group table now stands with only Nenagh having played all their games.
