Little All Stars 2016:

Fantastic numbers again this year at our Little All Stars event in Kilcolman on Saturday morning last. The kids had a wonderful time and great credit is due to the volunteers who organised and ran the mornings activities. It was great to see all the boys and girls of the parish enjoying themselves. Well done to all!

Adjourned AGM:

The adjourned AGM of Burgess GAA Club was held on Friday night last where a number of officer positions that were vacant within the club were filled. Mike Carroll will be stepping into the role of Chairman while Gemma Flynn takes on the mantle of Secretary. Peter Carroll was also made vice-Chairman again for his second year in the role. We wish Mike, Peter and Gemma every success in their positions for the coming year.

We would also like to thank the outgoing Chairman, Dinny Ryan and the outgoing Secretary Mairead Darcy for their service to the club. Both were a pleasure to deal with and were officers of the highest standard. Mairead will of course continue to serve as assistant secretary for which we are very grateful.
