Burgess GAA Notes 29th February 2016

Senior Hurling:   

 
After a long lay off our senior hurlers are back in competitive action on Sunday next at 4pm in Kilcolman when the begin their league campaign against near neighbours Ballina. All support is greatly appreciated.
Club Lotto:
There was no winner of last week’s draw held in Reidy’s, Newtown. The numbers drawn were 1, 3, 8 & 28. This week’s draw was held in Barry’s, Newtown. The Jackpot was €6,150. Next week’s Draw will be in Molly Ban’s, Nenagh on Monday 7th March. Best of luck and thank you for your continued support. Tickets €2 each. Play today
Little All stars:
Following on from the recent success of our little all star initiative a number of parents have continued with the 10am Saturday morning sessions for junior and senior infants. All are welcome to attend and any parent who wish to help would be greatly appreciated.
Burgess Mugs: 
We are offering bespoke Burgess branded mugs and “C’mon Burgess” badge combos from MrSportsGift for €10 (see Facebook or the club website for pictures). The proceeds of the sales of these items will help fund our juvenile club for what promises to be very busy and expensive Feile na Gael year. Gym and Club membership:

Club and gym membership rates are unchanged from last year and are as follows:Club membership falls due at this time and the rates are as follows: Adult Players €30, Student and non-playing members €20. Adult players with Gym membership €100, students and non-playing members €90. 
Camogie Dinner Dance:

The camogie club have asked us to let you know that the Burgess-Duharra dinner dance will take place on Saturday March 12th in the Abbey Court Hotel @ 8pm. Tickets are €25. Please contact any committee member or Burgess-Duharra Camogie Club Facebook page for details.

Coaching:

  

The Philip Kerr coaching seminar is on this Saturday, 5th March at 9.30am. It promises the be really interesting – he’s a top coach and it’s a great opportunity for all our coaches and mentors to build their skills and capabilities.
