Burgess GAA Notes 7th March 2016

Coaching Seminar:

National coach tutor Philip Kerr gave a fascinating player performance coaching seminar on Saturday last in Kilcoleman. The event was well attended by coaches of all grades and players. We would like the thank the u14’s who made themselves available to help out with the practical part of the training.

Senior Hurling:

Unfortunately our long awaited return to competitive senior action was scuppered by the foul weather on Sunday when Kilcoleman was deemed unplayable after a morning pitch inspection. Our league opener v Ballina will now take place on the coming weekend at a time and date to be confirmed. Keep an eye on the club social media for fixture details and breaking news.

The draw for the north championship was made recently and have been handed a bye for the first round of games.

Next week’s Draw will be in Reidy’s, Newtown on Monday 14th March. Best of luck and thank you for your continued support. Tickets €2 each. Play today!
