Pride of the parish this week was Stephen Kirwan who played a starring role in the Tipperary u16b Arrabawn tournament winning side. Well done Stephen!
We would also like to thank everyone who helped out in Kilcolman where we hosted a number of matches in the same competition.
A word of appreciation from Mike Slattery, Chairman Juvenile Club
“Thanks to all in the senior club who helped us in Kilcoleman yesterday, especially with food and the selling of programmes. It made for a very successful day.”

Junior A Hurling:
Our junior A’s were defeated by Kilruane on Saturday night in Dolla ending any possibility of advancing in the north championship. We have one remaining game to play against Toomevara. Please check the Guardian fixtures for more details and please check the club social media just prior to the game for last minute changes as it has become the norm for our fixtures to be changed three to four times after the guardian has been printed.
We are scheduled to play Borrisokane (at long last!) on Wednesday 7th of Sept should there be no draw in the all Ireland final. See the club social media for more fixture details closer to that date.
The was no winner of last week’s club lotto draw in Molly bans.
We had a great night in the D Pallas Bar last at the lotto draw last week. Congratulations to Connie Cleere who was presented with his cheque for €9,450 surrounded by family and friends. Thanks also to our host Jamie Maxwell and all at the D Pallas Bar.
Best of luck to Donagh Maher with the Tipp seniors in the all Ireland final and also best wishes to the Tipp minor hurlers.
