Burgess GAA Notes 15th August 2016

Retirement Party:

We had a wonderful celebration in the meeting room on Friday night last to give thanks to Ann McGrath for all the work she has done in the club. Presentations were made on behalf of the Senior, Juvenile, Camogie and Handball clubs to mark Ann’s retirement from FAS.

Ann’s legacy can be seen every day in the quality of the playing surface and the high standards of our facilities in Kilcolman. We sincerely hope she has a great retirement

Presentations were also made to Dinny Ryan who served as club chairman and Mairead Darcy who served as club secretary. Two great workers for the club and we thank them for all they have done for Burgess GAA.

Some video of the presentations:

Congratulations:

Well done to the Tipperary senior and minor hurlers on their fantastic wins on Sunday last. Well done especially to our own Donagh Maher who was a member of the panel.

All requiring tickets to the all Ireland hurling final should place their orders as soon as possible with club secretary Gemma Flynn. Contact Gemma on (087) 235 9336.
