Burgess GAA Notes 26th September 2016

Senior Hurling:

We exited the county championship on Sunday last after a 1-17 to 1-13 defeat to Borris-Ileigh in Dolla. Our lads gave it there all and but for an incredible late save by the Borris keeper the result could have been different. We would like to thank the players and management for the huge effort they made this year and a special mention to Stephen Murray who altered holiday plans to make himself available for the team.
