Burgess GAA Notes 14th November 2016

Burgess Duharra Camogie history makers:

Well done to Burgess Duharra who captured their first Munster senior camogie title at the weekend. Scenes of unbridled joy were witnessed that won’t soon be forgotten. We wish them all the best in the Ireland series. Hard luck to neighbours Nenagh Eire Og who battled hard but were ultimately beaten by a single point in a thrilling intermediate final at the same venue.

U21 North Final:

Our lads battled hard against red hot favourites Templederry Ballinahinch on Sunday last but came up just short 1-14 to 1-17. We would like to thank the players and management for their efforts, hard luck lads.
