Tribute Night:

We held a long overdue and richly deserved tribute night to honour the great Donie Nealon on Friday last. Comrades from the great Tipp team of the 60’s that Donie soldiered with along with rivals from that era were in attendance along with representative of the ’71, ’89 and ’91 teams that DonIe mentored. His service to the Munster council was also marked with colleagues from his time there also speaking. All in all it was a marvellous night filled with great stories and fun. A DVD will be available from Jim Egan for a cost of €10 fir those who couldn’t make it and anyone who’d like a memento of the night. We would especially like to thank John Hogan and his committee for their (covert) hard work in organising this great night in honour of Donie.
