Dinner Dance:
Last Saturday, on what was a fantastic night for the Parish, we held our joint dinner dance with the Burgess-Duharra camogie club. After a superb meal in the Lakeside Hotel Donie Nealon presented the medals to our Seamus O’Rian senior hurling champions. Pat Woods was later voted by the players as player of the year. The music was provided Ebony and dancing continued late into the night. Well done to all who organised a fantastic night for the club and we extend a special thanks to the staff of the Lakeside Hotel who looked after us so well. We would like to wish our hurlers and the Burgess-Duharra ladies the best of luck for the year to come.
Couch to 5K:
Our highly successful Couch to 5k programme kicked off on Tuesday in Kilcolman. If you have little or no running experience, this is perfect for you. New members are very important so if you’d like to get involved please contact Fergal on 085 7254855 if you would like to know more.
Cards:
The 45 cards night continues in Kilcolman on Thursday nights. Games start at 8pm upstairs in the new building and all are welcome.
Club Lotto:
There was no winner of last Monday night’s club lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 5, 13, 15 & 21. The Lucky dip winners were Nicola Sharkey Newtown, Ann McCormack Gortmore & Ann Carroll Kilcolman. The Sellers Prize went to Christy Griffin. This week’s draw was in Reidy’s for a Jackpot of €5,300.
