Burgess GAA Notes 17th July 2017

Senior Hurling:
We were beaten in our final group game of the league at the weekend this ends our interest in this competition.

Junior A Hurling:

Our next game is this Friday 21st of July at 7:30 in Ballingarry against Knockshegowna. All support would be greatly appreciated.

Minor Hurling:

Our minor hurlers defeated Newport last week on a Final Score of Burgess 1-17 Newport 0-07

The first half was close with Burgess always leading. Score at HT Burgess 0-08 Newport 0-05. A much improved second half performance from Burgess restricted Newport to two points both frees. Burgess were on top in all positions and their work rate and teamwork was top class with some well taken scores.
