Kilcoleman closed due to COVID19

All, please note GAA HQ have instructed all clubs to close their facilities completely, including use of pitches. As a result, gates to Kilcolman will now be locked and no access to the grounds are permitted until further notice. Signage to this effect will be placed on the gates to advise members of the community.

Risk reduction measures

As a risk reducing measure : We are asking all players attending training/matches to bring their own supply of water, with their name clearly marked on the bottle, for the foreseeable future.

Easter Camp
Easter Camp this year will be Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th April. Camp runs from 10am to 1pm. Cost €30 per Child

Press release regarding Sports Capital Funding grant

Great news!

Burgess G.A.A. and Burgess Duharra Camogie clubs are delighted to report that we were awarded €56140 in Sports Capital funding today towards our development of a hurling wall and all-weather playing surface.

Burgess GAA notes 11th Nov 2019

U21 Hurling:

Our u21’s suffered a heavy defeat away to Borrisokane on Saturday last. Final score Borrisokane 2-24 Borrisokane 0-9.This loss ends our interest in this competition.
Club Online Shop:
The new club shop is live on O’Neills website. They are offering a 15% discount on your first order with free delivery when you spend €50. 

Buy a Block, build a future:

‪A big thanks to everyone who came to Kilcoleman Friday evening last to support our buy a block build a future fundraiser. Blocks cost €200 and all proceeds will go towards developing our hurling wall and astro turf! Payment plans are also available if required. Contact Derek Sharkey or David Kyne for further information about securing your block.
Club lotto:
There was no winner of last Monday night’s jackpot, the Numbers drawn were 6, 15, 19 & 24. The Lucky dip winners were Gemma Flynn Nenagh, Margaret Grace Pallasbeg & Lauren McKenna Newtown. The sellers prize went to True Beauty Nenagh. This week’s draw is in D Pallas Bar for a Jackpot of €4,500.

U21 Hurling:

We are playing Ballina in Sunday November 3rd in Kilcolman at 12pm in the North B championship. All support is greatly appreciated.
