Burgess GAA notes 28th July 2014

Message of condolence from Juvenile chairman Mike Slattery:

On behalf of Burgess Juvenile GAA club, I would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family of the late Dermot Hogan.
Though proud to claim him as one of our own,we were never left in any doubt as to where his true allegiances lay. Tragically,but perhaps fittingly, he died in that place he loved to call home, surrounded by those who mattered the most.

The Burgess GAA club, it’s players, officers and supporters, extend their deepest sympathies to the Hogan family for their tragic loss. Dermot’s family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Senior hurling:

We face Drom&Inch in our final group game of the county senior hurling championship in Dolla on Sunday 3rd of August at 12pm. We must get a result in this game guarantee progression out of the group. All support is greatly appreciated.

Junior A hurling:

Our junior A hurlers face Silvermines on Monday 4th of August at 2pm in a venue yet to be confirmed at the time of writing. Please see the fixture list here for further details.

Club Lotto:

There was no winner of last weeks Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 19, 24 & 29. This weeks Draw was in Larkin’s, Garrykennedy on 28th July.
The Jackpot was at an all time high of €9,800! Next weeks draw will be in Molly Bán’s on Bank Holiday Monday the 4th August. Good Luck & thank you for your continued support.
